Chard Hockey Club's five teams are gearing up for a new league season on Saturday, September 28.
The 1st XI, who had an impressive 19-match unbeaten streak last season, start their campaign in West Men's Division 2 Central with an away match against Isca 4ths in Exeter at 1pm.
Meanwhile, the Ladies' 1st XI will host Exeter University 5ths in a home match at Holyrood Academy at 11am.
Chard's Men's 2nds will also be playing at home against Yeovil & Sherborne 3rds in Parrett Division 1, with a 2pm pushback.
Chard Ladies' 2nd XI will have an early morning start, playing away to Exeter Culm Vale Hornets at 10am.
The Men's 3rd XI, now playing in Riviera Division 2 due to a league reorganisation, will face Ocean City 4ths at home at 12.30pm.
Ocean City 4ths is one of three Plymouth-based teams in the division.
Training sessions are ongoing at Holyrood Academy's all-weather pitch, and new players are always welcome.
The ladies train on Wednesdays, the Under 12s and U14s from 7 to 8pm, and the seniors from 7.45 to 9pm.
For the men, it's Thursdays, with the U12s and U14s from 7 to 8pm, and the seniors from 8 to 9.30pm.
