On Sunday September 8, Sharon's 'amazing' walking team set off at 8am from West Bexington to take on the challenge of 15.7 miles to Lyme Regis.
Sharon said: "This was very challenging for many, as some of the hills are very unforgiving. Also many hadn’t taken on such a hard challenge before. We were also very lucky that the weather was kind to us and only decided to rain on the last bit from Charmouth to Lyme.
"Every single person who started at West Bexington made it to Lyme Regis. I can’t express how proud and grateful I am to each and everyone of these amazing special people, not only have they helped to raise over £6000 which is an astonishing amount of money for ward 9 at musgrove hospital, which looked after me while I was battling cancer.
"We also had 8 people travel drown from Stroud to take part and then had to drive back home straight afterwards. So myself and all my family would thank you all from the bottom of our hearts you are truly an amazing walking team."

At the end of last year, Sharon was diagnosed with a rare medical condition called HLH, which if left, could have been fatal. The HLH was triggered by a rare lymphoma cancer in my spleen. After going through six rounds of chemo and a stem cell transplant she is now in remission.
She added: "I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all the fantastic consultants and staff which worked at Ward 9 (haematology ward) at Musgrove Park Hospital which is where my fundraising money is being donated to."
