Adam Dance MP his holding regular meetings with local residents.
Since the general election in July, Adam has visited Yeovil as well as Ilminster, Chard and Crewkerne to hear the concerns of local people.
Adam says: "I am pleased that so many local residents felt able to come and talk through their concerns. With my team, we hope to take action to resolve at some of the issues raised. For instance, only today a family with a young baby, as well as health issues, told me of their difficulty in finding somewhere to live. We will be raising this with the local housing authorities and associations, and try to find a way forward for this family.
"Housing problems have been mentioned regularly, along with education, highways, visa difficulties and other specific issues. I cannot resolve all these worries but I can make sure the correct channels are followed and the appropriate authorities are alerted.
"Later this year we will open a Yeovil office where locals will be able to visit and discuss their concerns with my team. This is to help fulfill my pledge to be an MP with and for the community."
