CHARD Community Hub has two summer events planned this August, 'Shed Ache' and a summer staycation.
The first, summer staycation starts on Thursday August 15 and Thursday August 29 from 2pm to 4pm. This is a free event with Arts and Crafts, Kid's Activities, Games, and Refreshments at the Chard Community Hub at The Boden Centre.
The second is on Sunday August 18 from 2pm. Bring a picnic from 1pm for a performance by the AKA Dance Theatre. Shed Ache is a 'seriously silly dance theatre show for little people and their grown ups.
The performance takes place next to Lifestyle Fitness at Holyrood Academy, Zembard Lane in Chard. It is family-friendly and recommended for ages 2+. There is no need to book this is a free event, but Chard Community Hub will be 'happy to receive donations on the day.
Ice Cream and cold drinks will be available to buy. See more on the website www.takeart.org/whats-on.
