Pupils at Combe St Nicholas Primary School at New Road have achieved 100 per cent SATs test results.
The school is celebrating today (July 12) after their year six pupils achieved outstanding results across the board in their SATs tests this year.
The pupils boasted a 100 per cent pass rate in mathematics, writing, reading and spelling, punctuation and grammar tests. 57 per cent of the pupils achieved above the expected standard in separate subjects.
Headteacher, Christine Maxwell said: "The school’s commitment to a creative curriculum and academic rigour, alongside the children’s hardworking attitude has paid dividends. We are proud of all our pupils, whatever their achievements, but this year’s cohort have really pulled out all the stops."
Sats stands for the Standard Assessment Tests that primary school pupils in England take each May.
All pupils in Year 6 in England will do Sats, and they test pupils' knowledge in the core subjects.
