CHARD Fire Station manager presented Numatic International with a chief fire officer’s certificate of recognition last week.
Station Manager Jamie Dickenson presented the award after Chard Fire Station and Numatic held a training exercise on the evening of Tuesday May 28, to test the crew's response to an incident on site. After the exercise, Numatic was presented with the award.
A spokesman for Chard Fire Station said: "Last week our Station manager Jamie Dickenson presented Numatic international with a DSFRS Chief fire officer’s certificate of recognition.
"Numatic has helped contribute massively to the chard community safety by allowing their employees to respond to emergency incidents for over 30 years.
"It is a great opportunity for us to pay tribute to the Numatic employers for their flexibility in supporting our current serving oncall firefighters, who are pictured. A big thank you Numatic."
"Crews from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service carried out a training exercise working alongside Numatic staff testing our response to an incident on site."
