CHARD Museum is encouraging residents to join one of their walking tours to learn more about the town’s landmarks.
The museum said the next walking tour is taking place on Sunday, June 2.
A message from Chard Museum said: “Combine a healthy walk with an understanding of local landmarks.
“The museum is the heart of myths, hidden stories, and artefacts that help us learn from, and about the history of Chard and its surrounding community.
“There are many other historical landmarks in the town. The Blue Plaque walk helps the local community and visitors to trace these landmarks.
“This enjoyable walk takes approximately 60 minutes, depending on your energy levels.
“It finishes at Chard Museum where refreshments are provided. Refreshments are included within the booking fee.
“Booking is required. £8/adult including a 20 per cent discount on museum entrance.

“The next walk is on Sunday, June 2 at 10.30am and will start from the Guildhall.”
