A ROAD closure will be in place for three days near Chard town centre to fix an electricity supply fault to a school.
The north-east carriageway of East Street leaving the town centre will be affected by the closure from Wednesday, February 14 to Friday, February 16.
A spokesman for National Grid Electricity Distribution said: “We will be carrying out work in Chard town centre for three days starting on Wednesday, February 14 which will require pavement and road closures.
“We will need to close the north-east carriageway of East Street leaving the town centre on the approach to the four-way traffic signals, and so traffic will be diverted via Crowshute Link.
“We are doing this work during half-term to fix an electricity supply fault to a nearby school and academy and apologise for any inconvenience this causes.”
