Property flooding is expected at Chard Junction, Axe Farm, Coaxdon and Weycroft Cottages, Mosterton, Clapton, Tytherleigh and Broom, Axminster (Stoneybridge) according to the Environment Agency, as heavy rain has caused the River Axe to rise.
A spokesperson said: "Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
"People in this area should consider taking action now and install any property flood resilience measures. Remain safe and be aware of your local surrounding"
