A ROAD will close for over a month to allow works to be carried out on a new build housing development.

Somerset Council plans to prohibit all traffic along Crimchard, spanning 284 metres from the junction with Bondfield Way to the junction with Cuttifords Door.

The development is being facilitated by Harris and Harris Construction Ltd, which has been given the green light to proceed with works.

This was revealed in a public notice posted on the Public Notice Portal on January 25.

Works will commence on February 12 and are anticipated to last until March 22.
