The man in charge of the editorial department of the Chard and Ilminster News is set to hold a Meet the Editor session.

Tim Lethaby has been editor of the newspaper and website of the Chard and Ilminster News since December 2021, and he is asking readers new and old to come and chat with him about coverage.

Being held on Friday September 15 from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, the Meet the Editor session will take place at Eleos Cafe, in Fore Street, Chard.

Tim said: "I have loved my first 18 months as editor of the Chard and Illy, and now I want to model the paper and website on the type of positive, community news I champion.

"But this is your newspaper and website, the people of Chard, Ilminster and the surrounding towns and villages, and I want to know what is important to you.

"Please pop down to Eleos for a coffee and a chat, to let me know what you like most about our news, what you would like more of, or just let me know about a story you would like us to cover."
