AN ANIMAL sanctuary has launched a virtual competition to celebrate National Pet Month and raise funds.
Ferne Animal Sanctuary celebrates 2023’s National Pet Month by hosting its very own virtual Pet’s Got Talent.
Entries are now open and the charity is encouraging animals of all shapes and sizes, furry or feathered to enter the show and help raise vital funds for more than 300 animals in their care at the Sanctuary.
There are three categories to enter, Paw-some Pooches, Fantastic Felines, and Clever Creatures.
Owners simply need to upload an image or video (up to 60 secs) to the Charities dedicated webpage, for a chance to win a pet-friendly prize.
The charity has already seen some fantastic entries, from obedient felines to clever chickens – they are not looking for professionals, just a beloved pet with a special personality.
Entries for the competition cost £2, and all funds raised will go towards ensuring that Ferne can continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome all the animals, who through no fault of their own, need the care and support of the sanctuary.
Entries will close on May 2, and the top three shortlisted videos will be put to a public vote.
The Pets Got Talent 2023 winner will be announced on May 9 and awarded their pet-friendly prize.
