A GROWING tennis club in the area is inviting locals and people further afield to its upcoming Open Day.
Families and individuals are both invited to Chard Tennis Club's Open Day on Saturday May 13.
The club has said: "Come along to this friendly club to find out more about playing tennis and the coaching opportunities for beginners, experts and rusty returners!"
On the day you'll be able to play tennis for free, and this includes juniors from 10am to 12 noon and adults from 12pm to 2pm.
There will also be some special membership offers up for grabs on the day.
The Club is centrally located off Zembard Lane beside the Cricket and Football grounds, with plenty of parking available.
The club has a recently built artificial clay court, and two outdoor carpet courts which are floodlit.
All of the carpet courts are soft on the feet, non-slip and fit to play on after rain and frost.
