A GP surgery in Chard “will be closing”, NHS Somerset said.
NHS Somerset confirmed that Springmead Surgery, on Summerfields Road in Chard, will close and added that it “will shortly be contacting patients individually” to provide more details.
Dr Bernie Marsden, chief medical officer at NHS Somerset, said: “We want to reassure patients that NHS Somerset is working with Springmead Surgery to ensure that patients can still access healthcare in their local community.
“We will shortly be contacting patients individually with more details and urge patients to still contact the surgery for their ongoing healthcare needs.”
