CHARD residents are invited to join two free workshops to create illuminated artworks that will be displayed in the windows of buildings in the town centre.
The Window Wanderland project provides an opportunity for the community of Chard to create illuminated mixed media artworks with the following theme, ‘Belonging: people of Chard past, present, future.
The artworks will be showcased in February/March.
A spokesperson said: “We will brighten up the often dreary months of January and February through engaging workshops with schools, community groups and families.
“We will energise the town centre with illuminated window displays and an outdoor projection event on Saturday 11 March 6.30-7.30pm. The theme will be 'Belonging: people of Chard past, present, future'.”
The sessions will take place at Chard Museum on Saturday, February 25, and Saturday, March 4.
The sessions will be run by artist Richard Tomlinson.
