THE ILMINSTER Young Farmers Christmas tree collection will raise funds for two good causes.
The collection will support Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
A message shared on Facebook by the Ilminster Young Farmers page read: “Now is the time to book in for your Christmas tree collections. £5 per tree all in aid of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Motor Neurone Disease Association.”
This year the group will be collecting from the following places:
- Ilminster
- Chard
- Donyatt
- Horton
- Broadway
- Ilton
- Puckington
- Barrington
- Shepton Beauchamp
- Hatch Beauchamp
and surrounding areas.
The collections will take place on January 7, 8, 14, and 15.
To book a collection people can send their name, address, amount of trees, and which date they would like the tree(s) collected to the following number: 07946 110963.
