A MAJOR road near Yeovil will be closed until 1pm [Wednesday, November 23] while a lorry is being recovered.
The A37 Dorchester Road, in Closworth, near Yeovil, is currently closed, Travel Somerset said.
The council authority said the closure will be in place until about 1pm and is urging motorists to follow the diversions in place.
Its update said: "A lorry is being recovered on the A37 Dorchester Rd in Closworth nr #Yeovil so it will be closed until approx. 1pm. There is a signed local diversion in place so please follow that until then."

A further Travel Somerset update said: "A37 Dorchester Road both ways closed, slow traffic due to recovery work from Ryme Intrinseca turn off (Closworth) to Stoford Junction (Barwick)."
