THE South Somerset Community Choir and Ilminster Belles are joining forces for a concert of Christmas music at St Peter and St Paul Church in South Petherton.
The concert will take place on Friday, December 16 and will include many festive favourites as well as carols with audience participation.
The Ilminster Belles Ladies Choir are known for their exciting performances of modern music and musical theatre numbers.
The South Somerset Community Choir, formed in 2016, has a membership of sixty singers and performs a wide range of music from popular songs to jazz standards and show tunes.
Both choirs are directed by Jonathan Delbridge and the concert in December will be raising funds for Somerset Sight.
This is the first Christmas concert performed by both choirs since the Covid 19 restrictions were lifted and they are excited to once again be performing festive music to an audience.
The programme will include a mixture of traditional and modern seasonal favourites from O Holy Night and On Christmas Night to A Spaceman came travelling and Mistletoe and Wine.
