AN ALADDIN pantomime is coming up at the Ilminster Warehouse Theatre.
The Ilminster Entertainment Society will bring the show to town next month.
With a script by Alex Jackson and expertly directed by Bryan Hallett, and musical direction by Berry Bertschinger, the talented cast is excited to be entertaining audiences.
The age-old favourite centres around the tale of Aladdin, played by Aimee Purdey who dreams of a life full of adventure, not his dreary existence at the Lost-Sock Laundrette of Peking.
When the evil sorcerer Abanaza is awoken from his tomb, he is determined to conquer the world.
But without the genie in the magical lamp, he has no power.
Can Aladdin thwart his plans and save the day? With hilarious comedy from Twankey, Wishee Washie, and a hyperactive washing machine, Aladdin is the perfect pantomime adventure for all the family.
Performances are on December 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, and 10 at 7.30 pm with a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday, December 3.
Tickets are £12 (£6 for children and students). For more information visit the theatre’s website.
