NEROCHE Hall held its craft fair at Bickenhall last Saturday (October 29).
Neroche Hall has run a number of craft fairs over the years which obviously stopped during the lockdown.
This year’s event featured 20 stallholders selling a wide range of goods including art, pottery, natural skincare, jewellery, wooden items, candles, cards, decorations, knitwear, and even a stall selling posters with details of family surnames - the last was especially popular and many of the visitors took home framed posters of their heritage.
The event was manned by members of the Neroche Hall Committee - helping to unload the stallholders’ cars, marshaling the car park, selling teas, coffees, and cakes, and washing up the mountain of crockery and cutlery.
All the cakes were baked locally by members of the WI and donated to the event.
Feedback from the stallholders was very positive and visitors said the event was very friendly, and well organised and they enjoyed the day, and appreciated the free coffee and help with unloading and packing up.
