FOR one night only, Ilminster Ukulele Club will present an evening of foot-tapping, sing-along tunes, packed full of golden oldies, rock, modern pop, and country music.
The event will also raise funds for a good cause.
The ukulele club will be supported by The Merchant Men, who will entertain with their lively sea shanties.
There will also be renditions of modern pop songs.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the theatre Old Bakery Project.
A group’s spokesperson said the instrument is relatively easy to learn, encourages teamwork, is great fun, and is no wonder has become very popular in schools.
New members are always welcome and the club also provides tuition for complete beginners to those who do not play the instrument yet.
The event will take place at the Warehouse Theatre at 7.30pm on September 21.
