A CHARD couple has celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary with a party at Hornsbury Mill.
Brian and Deidre celebrate their long-awaited 60th wedding anniversary on September 1, 2022 and held a party last Saturday to mark this milestone.

They retired to Somerset in 1999 and have continued to enjoy hosting parties and celebrations at their home for various occasions.
Parents of two children, Stuart and Katrina, and dedicated grandparents to Solly and Amber they are much loved and cherished members of the family.
Brian has lived with ankylosing spondylitis since his early twenties however, this has not stopped him from living life to the full, having fun with his grandchildren, and always bringing a smile to whomever he meets with his wonderful sense of humour.
Deidre is the anchor of the family unit, supporting Brian and her children, ensuring they have a full and happy life, enjoying many hobbies, and being a loving nanny.
This is around ensuring Brian attends many hospital and consultant appointments to ensure he continues to enjoy life.
Their door is always open to help anyone in need and they have great New Year’s eve celebrations for the local neighbours.
The whole family and close friends come together to celebrate Brian and Deidre’s 60th wedding anniversary and show appreciation for their achievements and impact on the lives of others and of course wish them many more years of love and happiness together.
