THE two-day music festival, Chard Rock, was held last weekend.
The festival took place at The Drift, Crewkerne Road, on Saturday, August 13, and Sunday, August 14.
The festival featured several cover bands such as Snog (Kiss tribute), Ironed Maiden, and Whitefake, among others, and also offered basic camping for the weekend.
The festival was cancelled due to Covid in 2020, but came back in 2021.
Organisers then said this year’s edition would have been “bigger and better” with more headliners than the 2021 edition.
A message on Chard Rock’s website before the event read: “2018 hosted the first edition of the rock festival in Chard.
“With 2019 successfully completed, the 2020 festival was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19.
“2021 got us back on track with the first two-day festival.
“2022 is bigger and better with another exciting two-day festival with more headliners – let’s celebrate.”
