YEAR 4 pupils at Greenfylde First School in Ilminster, worked really hard over the final weeks of the term learning lines and songs for their end-of-year play 'Jack and Jill and the Beanstalk.’
The play was based on Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes but also included appearances from BBC news, Bake Off, I'm a Celebrity, and even Rogue Traders.
They shone on each night and at each performance.
The show received positive feedback and the audience described the performances as “magical” and also added that it kept them “on the edge of their seat.”
A message from the school said: “It has been wonderful to see how much they have all grown in confidence and thanks go to the staff and especially Sian Sainsbury for leading this and to the Ilminster Warehouse Theatre for supporting the children to perform their play there.”
Here are some photographs from the event.
