CHARD Rugby Club has announced Trae Gosling as the new signing of a player coach.
The club said: "We are pleased to announce that Trae Gosling has been appointed as our new player coach for the 2022/23 season."
Gosling has previously played in National 2, National 3 and the UAE 15s team brings with him a wealth of playing experience but also a good coaching CV having spent 3 years at the Apollo skills academy in Dubai.
There he coached the UAE national side and assisted Apollo Perelini in winning the U20 Asia championships.
Director of rugby Jon Hendy said: "We are delighted to welcome Trae to the club. It is important that we continue to build on the successful season we had last year and with bringing Trae on board it certainly does that.
"His enthusiasm and fresh approach is great and having played with him previously I know that he is the perfect fit for us and we are excited to start working with him."
