A LARGE crowd gathered for the lighting of the beacon as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
These photos (by Neil Dopson) show the lighting of the beacon in Ilminster.
Residents and visitors made their way up to Old Road to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee and a number of other Beacons were visible across the county at dusk.
