AMONG the major roadworks starting in Somerset this week is a scheme that will take 48 days to complete.
Here are the projects announced for this week by Somerset County Council.
MONDAY (May 9).
Forton Road, Chard, various works linked to Tilia homes estate, 48 working days.
Rudge Lane, Rudge, new water supply, 10 days.
Buckland Lane, Great Elm, resurfacing, 10 days.
Back Lane, Curry Rivel, drainage works, five days.
Broadway, Merriott, surface dressing, five days.
TUESDAY (May 10).
Hestercombe Road, Cheddon Fitzpaine, new drainage outside New Dawn.
A number of standard roadworks are being carried out today.
MONDAY (May 9).
Higher Ansford, new bus stops, 10 days.
Priory Close, Castle Cary, re-route water pipe, five days.
Williton Road, Bishops Lydeard, removal of highways trees, five days.
Exford to Simonsbath Road, Exford, oak posts installation, five days.
Langport Road, Middlezoy, replacing kerb line, five days.
Taunton Road, Thurloxton, jetting works, five days.
Cranmore Road, Cranmore, resurfacing, five days.
