THE Coloured Horse and Pony Society (CHAPS) held its South West Regional Show at Chard Equestrian Centre on Saturday, April 9.
Entrants were judged in 32 different categories throughout the day, which began at 9am at the equestrian centre, located at the Higher Purtington Showfield.
Entries for the show opened on March 14 and closed on April 7.
The organisers thanked the event's "wonderful" judges, Robert Parker-Jones, Julie Crowley and Charlie Handley for ensuring "our rings ran smoothly all day".
In a Facebook post, they also thanked "the most amazing competitors that come and support the show".
They added: "You are just the best - always smiling, congratulating and encouraging other competitors, and bringing the most beautiful patchy ponies to the show."
CHAPS UK was founded in 1983 and has since grown thanks to a group of coloured horse and pony enthusiasts.
It has registered over 20,000 horses and ponies and offers and range of shows and competitions throughout the country.
