CHARD'S monthly Popular Fayre, which features a variety of crafts, local stalls and homemade refreshments, returned to the Guildhall on Saturday, April 2.
The event, which is run by Chard resident Christine Sweet, was held between 9am and 2pm at the Fore Street venue and helped raise money for good causes.
Items on sale included wooden sculptures, knitwear, books, children's toys, glassware, and plants.
Christine said: “The fayre is a nice and friendly event, with roughly half the stalls being run in support of local charities.
“Pop down for a quick browse and treat yourself to a hot drink from the café and homemade cakes.
“Please support this event”.
The monthly Popular Fayre is free to enter and is ideal for all the family.
The next edition of the fayre will take place on Saturday, May 7.
