THE eagerly awaited finals of ‘Chard’s Got Talent’ were held at Chard School with a line-up of acts including football skills, dancing, rock bands, and hula hooping.
The teachers judging panel had the tough job of choosing the top acts and they agreed that all the children had been stars but the top three places were awarded to:
1) Tomas B. (violin);
2) Poppy W. & Dotty W. (dancing);
3) Barney C-M. & Louis L. (music performance).
Headteacher Mrs Katie Hill said: “The judging panel was blown away by the array of talents on show over the course of the afternoon and it was an unenviable job to select a winner.
“We are so proud of all the children that took part, especially as it was quite a daunting prospect to stand up on the stage in front of the whole school community.
“We certainly have a great number of stars in the making.”
Chard School is holding an Open Day on Monday, March, 28.
