MORE than 300 homes were left without power in the Ilminster area.
Western Power said 334 houses in Dowlish Ford are without power due to the winds brought by the storm.
A message on the company's website read: "We are aware of this power cut incident which was raised at 8.09am this morning and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you."
The company also said they “estimate the problem will be resolved by 12pm”.
A power cut has affected Chard too, and 661 houses are currently without power.
The issue was reported just after 10am this morning and Western Power said they expect to solve it by 5pm today, Friday, February 18.
