A WOMAN from Tatworth has been ordered to pay £244 after pleading guilty to riding a Honda motorcycle at 79mph on an A-road with a 50mph speed limit.
Tracey Challinor, of Kents Lane, Tatworth and Forton, committed the offence at Miles Cross on the A35 trunk road in Bridport, Dorset, on April 18, 2021.
Challinor, 56, pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure on Saturday, February 5.
She was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £34 surcharge to fund victim services and £90 in court costs by magistrates in Weymouth.
She also had five penalty points added to her driving licence.
Her guilty plea was taken into account when her sentence was passed.
