PUPILS at a school in Chard enjoyed a fancy dress day where they got to dress up as heroes and villains.
Chard School welcomed students through the school gates dressed up as Matilda, Captain America, Sir Captain Tom Moore, doctors, a T-Rex and many more.
As well as dressing up, the pupils wrote poems to thank real-life heroes, played games in PE to eliminate the villains and took part in hot-seating activities pretending to be a hero or villain.
Headteacher of Chard School, Mrs Hill, said: βIt certainly proved to be an exciting way to launch our new theme for this term.
"Thank you to all of the staff for making this such a memorable day for the children.β
