A NEW vintage shop opened its doors near Chard last month.
The Vintage Trading Post, a shop focusing on a huge selection of vintage, retro and antique items, opened in Tytherleigh on November 6.
With a store already in Ottery St Mary, this new shop stocks favourite traders from the first venture, along with more Tytherleigh traders as well.
There are classic cars on the forecourt, and the main building, lean to, and barn, is full of a unique selection of items.
Owner, Sharon French, said after the success of the Ottery St Mary Shop, she decided to look for another location.
"We were aware of The Trading Post in Tytherleigh and popped in to say hello," she said.
"The location was perfect for us, the building lent itself to our quirky displays and within the month we had 40 traders filling all the spaces and our doors opened.
"Each trader has their own style pitch with great presentation and realistic priced items.
"You’ll find something for everyone here.
"You can furnish your home, take a trip down memory lane or just reminisce and enjoy the experience.
"It’s a great place to find that’s special Christmas gift you’ve been looking for."
You will find The Vintage Trading Post Tytherleigh opposite the Tytherleigh Arms and next to the Tytherleigh Farm Shop.
The business is dog friendly, and there is plenty of parking outside.
