A POPULAR Somerset music festival has already announced plans for next year.
Chard Rock, which began in 2018, is a rock festival held near The Drift in Chard.
Organisers have announced that next year's charity to benefit from the festival will go toward the Breast Cancer Unit at Yeovil District Hospital.
The hospital has launched an appeal to raise £2million needed to develop a dedicated unit. This will allow patients to have a biopsy, a mammogram, an ultrasound and a consultation all in one place.
A spokesperson for Chard Rock said: "Each year Chardrock chooses a charity to support, and we like to keep it local. It's all you amazing folk that help build the cash pot by buying raffle tickets and using the activity tents.
"There are some amazing things happening in the background already to make next year's festival even more fun and entertaining than before. Together we can help raise some money for this very worthy (and needed) cause. "
Chard Rock has also announced they have completed their 2022 line-up and will be announcing the acts on their Facebook page.
This year's Chard Rock took place August 14 and 15.
