ILMINSTER carnival stalwarts Catherine and Patricia Male have already been bringing home the silverware this season.
The girls, aged 13 and 11 respectively, have won five cups at this year's carnivals as the Can Can Girls, the costume they wore at last year's Ilminster and Chard carnivals.
In Seaton, they won first prize in the walking pairs category, while at South Pethertonthey scooped first in the walking pairs, the under-16 category and best costume overall.
They also won first prize in the walking pairs at Axminster Carnival.
The girls' new costume will get its first official outing this Saturday at Ilminster Children's Carnival and then Wellington Carnival in the evening.
