SEVEN schools in Yeovil are closed this morning (29 November) due to a burst pipe affecting water supplies.
Buckler’s Mead School, Fairmead School, St Michael’s Academy, Milford Infants School, Milford Junior School, Primrose Lane Primary School and Birchfield Primary School are all closed because of a lack of water.
Wessex Water has apologised for the inconvenience caused by the incident, and said it is “working hard” to fix the issue.
It is unknown when the situation will be resolved and whether the schools will reopen today.

“Our team are working hard to complete the repair and we apologise for the inconvenience this has caused."
Birchfield Primary School said it has “no idea” when the water will be back.
