Drivers in and around South Somerset will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 8pm November 18 to 6am November 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound, Ilchester to Podimore Rbt, carriageway closure for White lining/Road markings, diversion via A37, A359 and rejoin A303.
• A303, from 8pm November 19 to 6am November 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound, Podimore Rbt to Sparkford, carriageway closure for White lining/Road markings, diversion via A37, A359 and rejoin A303.
• A303, from 8pm November 20 to 6am November 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Ilchester to Cartgate Rbt, carriageway closure for White lining/Road markings, diversion via A37, A3088 and rejoin A303.
• A303, from 7pm November 21 to 6am November 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Cartgate Rbt to Prophets Lane, carriageway closure for White lining/Road markings, diversion via A3088, A30, A356 and rejoin A303.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
