YEOVIL'S new Toys'R'Us will launch with a grand opening event and goody bag giveaways this weekend.
The store, inside the WHSmith at 10 Middle Street, will open its doors for the first time on Saturday, November 16, with a launch event from 8.30am until 1pm.
Geoffrey the Giraffe will join the WHSmith team for an official ribbon cutting when the store opens, and will be there to greet visitors throughout the morning.
The first 50 children visiting the store will also receive a free Toys'R'Us goody bag worth over £15. Doors will open at 8.30am, and customers are advised to "get there early for the giveaway".

Top toy brands including Barbie, Bluey, Hot Wheels, LEGO, Marvel, Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, Squishmallows, Star Wars and more will be on offer.
Demonstration tables in the store will allow children to play hands-on with the latest toys. A lifesize Geoffrey the Giraffe sculpture will also feature in the new Toys'R'Us shop-in-shop.
Yeovil is one of 37 WHSmith High Street stores set to open a new shop-in-shop from Toys'R'Us before Christmas. Taunton's Toys'R'Us shop-in-shop opened in August.
Ian Sanders, Group Commercial Development Director, WHSmith said: "We’re really excited to be opening Toys'R'Us in Yeovil.
"WHSmith is known for being the Hub of the High Street by providing customers with a range of great products and services.
"Partnering with Toys'R'Us gives us a leading toys and games range in our stores and means customers have even more reasons to shop with us. We look forward to welcoming many more customers into our store."
