Police are on the hunt for people who rammed a car into the Argos near Yeovil early yesterday morning.
The offenders did not manage to gain entry to the store but Dorset Police are investigating it as an attempted burglary. They are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
The force said it received a report at about 5.25am on Sunday 20 October 2024 that a light-blue Seat Salsa car had collided with the wall of the Argos store at the Peel Centre on Babylon Hill in Yeovil. The offenders fled the scene shortly afterwards.
Police Constable Jack White said: “I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with relevant information that might assist our investigation.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who was near the store and witnessed any suspicious activity at the time of the incident, as well as any motorists driving in the area of Babylon Hill who may have captured relevant footage on their dashcams.”
