An evening of flute is coming to the South Somerset Music Centre.

The event, presented by Samantha Rowe, will take place on November 9 from 7pm.

Ms Rowe, a Guildhall School of Music and Drama graduate, is currently pursuing a master's degree at the Royal College of Music while performing across the UK.

Her previous performances have been described as "immaculate, a varied programme, charmingly delivered links" and "our hearts are full of your music."

The show will feature piano accompaniment by Jonathan Delbridge, and include Poulenc's famous flute sonata and Widow's masterwork suite for flute, alongside pieces by J S Bach, Clarke's Touching the Ether, and Harberg's piccolo sonata.

Tickets, priced at £12, can be purchased from southsomersetmusiccentre.co.uk or by phoning 01460 594464.

Advance booking is essential due to the intimate nature of the venue.
