YEOVIL Town Community Trust is planning the Somerset Three Peaks Challenge.

The challenge is a 50km walk starting in Glastonbury, ascending Glastonbury Tor, moving on to Dundon Beacon, and concluding at Ham Hill before finishing at Huish Park.

Arranged by Yeovil Town Community Trust, which will take place on September 20 to raise funds for The Hub, Mind in Somerset, and the Yeovil Hospital Charity.

Participants will engage with local schools along the route to promote the charities and foster community spirit.

A spokesman for Yeovil Town Football Club said: "We aim to bring the community together for a worthy cause. This event supports The Hub, Mind in Somerset, and the Yeovil Hospital Charity, highlighting the importance of mental health, disability support, and local healthcare services."

Businesses can also sponsor the event with several levels of sponsorship: £500 Sponsorship: Prominent logo placement on all event materials, social media shoutouts, and a special mention during event speeches. £250 Sponsorship: Logo placement on event materials and social media mentions. £100 Sponsorship: Mention on our social media and in event materials.

People are welcome to join the walk at any level with a donation. The Hub provides disabled adults with opportunities to gain valuable work experience, fostering independence and confidence.

Mind in Somerset offers crucial mental health support services, and the Yeovil Hospital Charity ensures the local hospital can continue providing excellent healthcare.

Funds raised from this event will support these charities’ ongoing efforts to improve the well-being of individuals in Somerset. Donations can be made HERE
