A CROWDFUNDING page has launched to raise money for a man from Chard who has gone missing in Italy.
The appeal for Michael Frison was published last Friday (July 19) via GoFundMe, and it has already raised £2,210 from a target of £2,000 as of today (July 23).
The funds will go towards helping the group of volunteers that is currently being gathered together to head out from the UK to Sardinia to help search for Michael. It will also be used as a financial buffer for his mum Cristina and her youngest son.

The page said: "On July 13, he was due to start some volunteering but felt unwell, not used to the hot climate and possibly dehydrated. He was given water and went to sleep.
"He woke and said he was going for a walk and is now missing.
"I can't tell you how genuinely lovely this family is I'm absolutely heartbroken for them. Please donate whatever you can and share."
