Wincanton & Somerton Neighbourhood Policing Team are investigating an incident after discovering at least three stolen vehicles in a yard while on a rural patrol around Somerset.
These vehicles along with further suspected stolen car parts were recovered, two males were arrested on scene for handling stolen goods and for the thefts of the motor vehicles. Both remain under investigation.
In a post on Facebook on Tuesday (July 16) Wincanton & Somerton Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Our officers are working in conjunction with neighbouring forces in order to co-ordinate our response to this criminality. We appreciate the disruption caused to the daily lives for victims of vehicle crime and will continue to root out offenders."
