Organisers of Ilminster Carnival has announced the annual carnival will take place on Saturday October 5 2024.
Entry forms for the grand procession, Ilminster Rules and the Children's entry forms have also opened. Closing Date - Wednesday 2nd October.

Ilminster Carnival is part of the South Somerset Federation of Carnivals which also consists of Wellington, Chard and Taunton.
The procession of illuminated floats and costumes is part of an ancient tradition. The floats can be up to 100 feet long and covered in thousands of light bulbs. In 2022, they celebrated 100 years of Ilminster Carnival.
