Speaking about the new tour, Mr Buchanan said: "Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!

"It could be a line straight from The Wizard of Oz but there’s no fiction here, just amazing facts as I get the chance to bring to life the amazing adventures I’ve had the absolute privilege to experience.

"Bears and big cats are the undisputed icons of the animal kingdom and I’ve spent a lifetime capturing them on film."

Buchanan continued, sharing his experience with diverse creatures from pandas in China to grizzlies in Russia: "There has been mud, sweat and tears, tender moments and terrifying encounters and I can’t wait to meet more animal lovers and tell more tales as I hit the road again."

Originally from the Isle Of Mull, Gordon Buchanan began his career in filmmaking in 1989 as assistant to the acclaimed survival cameraman Nick Gordon.

His work has taken him to Sierra Leone to document animals in the Gola Rainforest, to the Himalayas searching high-altitude tigers, and to the depths of the Amazon for jaguars.

All this in an effort to capture the mystical beings and reveal their secrets to a global audience.

He looks forward to sharing these experiences with his audience during the 2025 tour, sharing stories of his adventures with pandas, grizzlies, tigers, and jaguars, aiming for a night of adventure wrapped in awe and wonder.
