Food and drink establishments in Somerset have been given their food hygiene ratings this week.

The list is published on the Environment Agency's Food Standard ratings from June 19.

• Rated 4: Fortes Ice Cream Parlour at 2-3 Pier Street, Burnham-On-Sea; rated on May 21

• Rated 3: Tristans Bistro at 11 East Reach, Taunton, Somerset; rated on May 21

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 4: COOP Kitchen at 6 Christchurch Street West, Frome; rated on May 21

• Rated 3: Boss Hogs at 6 Willoughby Place, Millfield, Chard, Somerset; rated on May 21

The Lamb and Fountain Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at Lamb And Fountain Inn, 57 Castle Street, Frome was given four-out-of-five score after assessment on May 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Somerset's 602 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 480 (80%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.

Sweet Joy Homebakes, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at TA2 was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 17.

And Tondo, a takeaway at 3a Stony Street, Frome was also given a score of four on May 17.
