An award-winning national touring company is bursting onto the Yeovil stage with a brand new show for adults, 'Listen Dance'.
Little Bulb Theatre will be appearing with their new show at Westlands Entertainment Venue on July 3.
The Frome-based company are fresh off the success of their Olivier Award-winning family show, 'Wolf Witch Giant Fairy'.
'Listen Dance' crafts itself around the concept of social dance.
It explores the idea of people dancing together in the same room in various styles.
Comparisons could be drawn to a barn dance, or even a wedding reception.
Those watching can choose to partake in each dance, or simply observe and enjoy the spectacle.
Every dance mirrors a new style.
Attendees can expect a rich variety, from disco and Bollywood to the potential chaos of a mosh-pit.
All styles are to be guided by a ten-piece live band, comprised of accomplished musicians, singers, and actors.
Emily Davis, producer for Little Bulb Theatre, provided a Frequently Asked Questions section for potential attendees.
It says: "No, you don’t have to dance.
"Everyone gets a seat, but there’s plenty of room on the dance floor and lots of chances to dance if you want to.
"The bar will be open and you can get yourself to a drink any time during the performance."
The show itself runs for two hours and twenty minutes, including a twenty-minute interval.
Doors open at 7pm in the evening, with the show commencing at 7.30pm on the dot.
For night owls, the bar and dancing continue until 10.30pm.
