Along with other primary schools, the children joined in a celebration worship that involved song, drama and reflection as they celebrated their time in primary and thought ahead to their move to primary school.
Year 6 proudly carried the Herne View school banner and were also presented with a candle to bring back to school to share the light that was given to them for their ongoing journey in education.
Herne View Church of England Primary school had paintbrushes to the ready as they produced art work for a mini art exhibition of work from pre-school to Year 6 which went on display in the Showcase Window on Silver Street, Ilminster.
