LOVE Yeovil and Somerset Diverse Communities (SDC) is holding a festival to share and celebrate culture this summer.

Yeovil Together Festival is a free family-friendly fun day open to everyone which takes place on Sunday July 14 from 12am to 5pm at Westlands Entertainment Venue, Westbourne Close, Yeovil, BA20 2DD.

A spokesman said: "Experience the culturally diverse flavours of Yeovil, creative workshops, and free activities. Be sure to join in by wearing clothes that celebrate your cultural heritage.

"Yeovil Together Festival 2024 aims to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all attendees, celebrating the diversity that makes Yeovil a vibrant and welcoming community.

The event will provide an opportunity to learn about different cultures, build connections, and appreciate the unique contributions of individuals and groups.

A spokesman added: "Events throughout the day include: Culturally diverse food, Live Music Performances and interactive dance, family-friendly culturally creative workshops and stalls run by a variety of organisations, Miniature Railway and much, much more. We can’t wait to see you there.
